Melanie Anne Padernal

Melanie Anne Padernal is a Filipina-American actor, writer, and producer committed to amplifying nuanced stories that celebrate women and people of color. Her film projects have premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and Slamdance Film Festival. Her on-screen acting work can be found opposite Sophie Turner, Mae Whitman, and Mark Hamill. She created and stars in the digital dramedy series GO OFF IZZY.

Passionate about authentic Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander representation, Melanie is a founding member of the sketch comedy team FILIPINO AF and has performed with ASIAN AF at high-profile comedy festivals like SF Sketch Fest and Hawaii Comedy Festival. She trained at the American Conservatory Theater, Second City, and Upright Citizens Brigade.
